January 18th, Wednesday: The group experienced Papeete on foot. Didi gave a
wonderful tour of the Black Pearl Museum, some of us went to the fabric shops, we ate and shopped in the public market and explored the shops of Papeete. Didi taught us how to use the local transportation, Le Truck. And in the evening we went back into Papeete to the roulottes (food vans) on the dock
where we had dinner and mingled with the locals.
