Friday, January 20th:  Lying 12 miles west of Tahiti is the island of Moorea. The name means "yellow lizard".  Only 36 miles around and encircled by a beautiful lagoon, Moorea has high peaks, deep-green valleys and beautiful white-sand beaches.    We took the 20-minute catamaran ride on the Armetiti V over to Moorea, and stayed at the
InterContinental Moorea Resort and Spa for 5 nights.
