Wednesday, January 18th: Each evening along the waterfront in Papeete the colorful roulottes appear.  These are vans that have been converted into mobile restaurants.  The food is wonderful, the atmosphere is great and it gives you a chance to mingle with the locals.  Some evenings a Tahitian band plays in the gazebo.  This is a must for every traveler to Tahiti!  Our group took Le Truck from the InterContinental into Papeete and had dinner there.  Food choices are pizza, chinese, steak, veal,
seafood, crepes, ice cream and belgian waffles!
