Lagoonarium Island Picnic

One of the activities you can do at the Tikehau Pearl Beach is to go on a picnic on one of the isolated motus.  You take a boat to the motu, swim in the lagoon, rest on the beach, eat a wonderful lunch and watch the sharks that come very close to the shore to get the scraps remaining from the picnic!   It's like experiencing your very own
"Survivor Camp".

The island and the white sand beach that encircles the entire island.

One side of the island has a wonderful snorkeling spot.

The sharks hang out on one side of the island, waiting for food scraps left over from the picnic.  A rare opportunity to get up close and personal with some sharks!

Giving the leftovers to the fish and the sharks.
