Way Out Back Australia - Where llfe is larger and the adventure is You.

There are  many activities that you can participate in when you stay at Bullo.   We watched Franz and Marlee brand cattle, we went fishing in the Bullo River, watched birds at one of the many lakes on the cattle station, went 4-wheel driving, visited an aboriginal rock art site, had a bush picnic, swam in a billabong, went boating and flew over their cattle station..   Below are just some of the activities. we did in our three days at Bullo.

Fishing on the Bullo River at sunset.   For some of us, the fishing paid off with barramundi and a mud crab!  The chef at Bullo cooked them for our dinner.

Bullo is a great place to do some birdwatching.

We took a tour down Bullo River looking for crocodiles.

We went out to the stockyards and watched Franz, Marlee and the ranch hands work with the cattle.   You can help out if you want!

We spent another day in the bush 4-wheel driving, saw some boab trees, termite mounds, and swam in a billabong.

Evan showed us an aboriginal rock art site that he had discovered and afterwards fixed us a wonderful bush lunch.

Watching the sunset over Bullo is a great end to a busy day.
