Activities abound in Fiji!  There are many tour operators who will show you around or you can rent a car on Viti Levu and drive around the island yourself.  Below is a partial listing of some of the activities you can do when you are in Fiji!

  • Tour the island of Viti Levu - visit Nadi, Lautoka, and the capital of Suva or visit the Sigatoka Valley.
  • Visit Pacific Harbour Cultural Center, Orchid Island and Fijian Cultural Center or the Kalevu Centre in Sigatoka - both on the Coral Coast.
  • Go on a day trip on a seaplane or plane to an outer island.  Go on Discover Fiji's Jewel of Fiji day trip up the Navua River (click on the button above to learn more).
  • Go on a sailing ship and visit the outer islands.
  • Take the Coral Coast Railway - the sugar cane train.
  • Visit a Fijian village.
  • Visit Raymond Burr's "Garden of the Sleeping Giant" - Fiji's largest orchid collection.
  • Go trekking in the Nausori or Central Highlands.
  • Take a tour up one of Fiji's rivers.
  • Experience Shotover Jet Fiji - a river ride.
  • Go gamefishing.
  • Go snorkeling and diving.  Fiji is renowned for the "Rainbow Reef" and is considered the soft coral capital of the world.
  • Cruise the Yasawas and the Mamanucas.
  • Go shopping.  Fiji has wonderful handicrafts made out of the tapa cloth, wood carvings, garments, pottery, soaps and lotions.
  • Visit a market
  • Just relax and enjoy the beach.
  • Visit a waterfall.
  • Visit the capital, Suva.
  • Go whitewater rafting
  • Float down a river on a bilibilli (bamboo raft).
  • Go bicycle riding.
  • Play golf and tennis.
  • Stay overnight in a Fijian village.
  • Partake of a lovo and magiti - a feast of food cooked in an underground oven. 
  • Spend an evening sharing the kava bowl with your new-found friends.
  • Go jetskiing and parasailing.
