What better place to learn to surf than Bondi Beach which is world-renowned as the most popular beach in Australia. Just 15 minutes from downtown Sydney lies Bondi's sandy beach which also has trendy open-air restaurants, many different shops, wide-open parks, beach bars and a wonderful main street called Campbell Parade. It is also known for its Sunday markets. The beach is 1 km long and is in a protected cove. There is also a cliff walk that will take you to Tamarama, Bronte and Coogee beaches. |
