Riverland is the fruit basket of Southern Australia and the Murray River defines it.  This region is two and a half hours west of Adelaide and this is where half of South Australia's wine grapes and 90% of the state's citrus, fruits and nuts are grown.  Located here are cellar doors and river towns by the names of Renmark, Berri, Barmera, Kingston-on-Murray, Waikerie, Morgan, Blanchetown  and Burra.

Good food is one reason to come to Riverland.

Five top golf courses are in this area.

This is the river town of Morgan but there are several other towns to explore.

Agriculture is king in Riverland.

Banock Station Wine and Wetland Centre is near Kingston-on-Murray.  This wetland is home to many different birds and there is a boardwalk that takes you into the area.

Huck Finn would have been very happy hanging out at the Murrray River!

Just a few of the things you can do along the Murray River.
