TRAVEL CONSUMER RESTITUTION CORPORATION (TCRC) DISCLOSURES

Your Travel Source is a participant in the Travel Consumers Restitution Corporation (TCRC).  Registration as a seller of travel does not constitute approval by the State of California.  California law requires certain sellers of travel to have a trust account or bond.  This business has a trust account.  Our  CST# is: 2037874-40.

Right of California Customer to Make Claim on the California Restitution Fund

All payments for transportation or travel service not provided to the passenger shall be promptly refunded, in accordance with the agreed-to-terms and conditions, unless the passenger otherwise instructs the seller of travel in writing.

You, the passsenger, may request reimbursement from TCRC if you are owed a refund of more than $50 for transportation or travel services which was not refunded in a timely manner by a seller of travel who was registered and participating in the TCRC at the time of sale.  The maximum amount which may be paid by the TCRC to any one passenger is the total amount paid on behalf of the passenger to the seller of travel, not to exceed $15,000.

A claim must be submitted to the TCRC within six months after the scheduled completion date of the travel.  A claim must include sufficient information and documentation to prove your claim and a $35 processing fee.  You must agree to waive your right to other civil remedies against a registered participating seller of  travel for matters arising out of a sale for which you file a claim with the TCRC, if you were located in California at the time of the sale.  You may request a claim form by writing to :  Travel Consumer Restitution Corporation,  P.O. Customers Located Outside of California

This transaction is not covered by the California Travel Consumer Restitution Fund.  You are not eligible to file a claim against that Fund in the event of this Travel Agency’s default.

Christine Meny, dba Your Travel Source, in association with Dierdra McElroy is acting solely as an intermediary or as an agent for Tahiti Legends in selling or in accepting reservations or bookings for travel related services.  Your Travel Source, in association with Dierdra McElroy, is neither responsible for any changes, cancellations or refunds made by Tahiti Legends nor responsible for any changes in rates or fares or any incidental consequential losses or damages in the event Tahiti Legends ceases operations.  Your Travel Source, in association with Dierdra McElroy accepts no liability or responsibility for any injury, loss, claim, casualty, or damage arising out of , or caused by, any disruption of travel and/or related services due to monetary crisis, political or social unrest, diseases or medical conditions,  labor problems, mechanical or construction difficulties, climatic aberrations, local laws, or novel conditions.   For the portion of the trip involving the tour, if refunds are to be made, they come from Tahiti Legends, not Your Travel Source or Dierdra McElroy.  Your Travel Source will act as an intermediary in expediting any refunds from Tahiti Legends for the tour portion of the trip.

Your Travel Source and Dierdra McElroy reserve the right to cancel this tour if they fail to book enough people (15) to maintain our very special group rate.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

VENDOR INFORMATION
Your Travel Source will be using Tahiti Legends to arrange the hotels and the airline.  The tour  operator contracts with the hotels and the airlines to get the best possible price.

PAYMENT INFORMATION
At the time of booking a nonrefundable deposit will be required.   All partaicipants in the tour will be required to take out travel insurance.   Final payment is due 45 days before the trip. If you book later than 45 days prior  to your departure, then final payment may be required at that time. Prices are guaranteed  ONLY when paid in full.

DOCUMENT INFORMATION
Once final payment is made, documents usually arrive 2-3 weeks before your departure.  Your vouchers will include the following:  airline tickets, vouchers for the hotel and for any transfers plus information on the insurance policy.

REVISIONS & CANCELLATIONS
Whenever possible, Your Travel Source will inform you of applicable charges as they become  known to Your Travel Source and before processing your revision request. Again these  policies are set by Tahiti Legends and will be supplied to you when you are given  pricing.

REVISIONS
 After documents are issued: Once the travel documents have been  prepared and received, you will be responsible for the following:

1. $50.00 change fee to Your Travel Source
2. Vendor fees, if any; and
3. Any shipping charges of documents back and forth to the tour company.

CANCELLATIONS
 Once under deposit with Tahiti Legends, bookings are subject to change and cancellation charges.  If you cancel your booking, you can expect a refund minus the cancellation penalties.. Unused accommodations, car rental and other tour features may be refunded, but only  after deducting no-show or early check-out fees that are assessed by these vendors.  Partial refunds may require recalculation if weekly rates or special offers were included  and are not valid for the reduced length of stay.  Your Travel Source will charge a $50.00 cancellation fee.

SPECIAL REQUESTS
All requests for specific bedding, location within the hotel, smoking/non-smoking rooms,  and other items of this nature, will be communicated to the vendor. However, no guarantees  are expressed or implied that these requests will be honored. Most vendors have a  "first-come, first-served" policy regarding special requests. If you have requested that a roommate be assigned to you, Your Travel Source, will make every effort  to match you with someone who has also signed up for the tour who is also requesting a  roommate and who would be compatible with your needs. However, if no one is available then you will be responsible for paying a single supplement or declining to join the tour. 

PASSPORT
You will need a passport to go on this tour and your passport needs to have 6 months remaining from the time you return to the U.S.     If you show up without one you will be denied boarding and will not be able to go on the trip.
