Our home for the next three days was the InterContinental Resort Tahiti. Our group enjoyed the pools, the lagoon, and waking up every morning to the amazing view of Moorea just across the ocean.

Sandy (left) and Beth (right) had been members of the 2006 Insider's Tour. They brought their sister, Tina with them this time so we called them "The Three Sisters".

The InterContinental's wonderful pool was where we spent most of our time when we were at the hotel. This was one of the wonderful tapa designs/tablecloths at the hotel.

Didi arranged to have the artisans show the group how the tahitian pareos are made.   It is a combination of tie dying and using stencils and the sun to bleach out patterns of fruits, animals or plants.
