Flying to Tahiti

Any travel agent can issue a ticket or book a cruise . . .
We create Travel Experiences . . . that extra effort is our hallmark!

The islands of Tahiti are only an 8-hour flight from Los Angeles.  We flew over on Air Tahiti Nui, the polynesian airline.    Everyone flew into Los Angeles and we met there as strangers but when we flew home we were all friends.  The experience of Tahiti begins the minute you board Air Tahiti Nui with the friendly flight attendants serving you Tahitian food and offering you Hinano beer in their Tahitian dresses.

Didi is excited to go back home and show the group her Tahiti!

Becky and Heinui getting ready for the flight.

Sandy and Tina are sisters.  In the photo to the left, is their other sister Beth.  Sandy and Beth were on the 2006 Insider's Tour and they loved Tahiti so much they decided to come back and brought their sister Tina so she could also experience Tahiti and the 2007 Insider's tour.

Bill and Carolyn live in Valley Springs and behind them is Beth who lives in southern California.

Lisa and Pat live in the same town as Bill and Carolyn and Pat is Lisa's aunt.

OUR WELCOME IN TAHITI AT FAA'A

We were welcomed to Tahiti by the strums of ukeleles and the wonderful singing voices of the Tahitians.

Heinui settles in for the flight.

Janice and Kim are mother and daughter.  Behind is Pam who works with Kim.  The majority of the members of the 2007 tour were family members!

Tina can't believe she is in Tahiti!  You're a long way from Michigan, Toto!

Pat was met at Faaa, the international airport, by her friend, Yvette and her husband who live in Papeete.

Heinui's  mother (right) and other family members met our group with beautiful leis.

We were joined at the InterContinental early in the morning by Aini who had flown 28 hours on three planes from Helsinki,  Finland (Helsinki to Paris, Paris to Los Angeles and Los Angeles to Papeete)!  She was coming out of the darkness and into the light.   Finland at this time of year has  18 hours of darkness and is very, very cold!  What a change was in store for her!

Waiting for our transportation to the InterContinental Tahiti.
