YELLOW WATERS BILLABONG CRUISE |

The Yellow Water Billabong is located at the end of Jim Jim Creek, which is a tributary of the South Alligator River. Yellow Water Cruises gives you an opportunity to visit this wetland, seeing birds and crocodiles in their natural habitat. |

UBIRR & NOURLANGIE ROCK ART SITES |

There are many art sites throughout Kakadu, but the aboriginal owners of the land only allow access to three of them. On our guided tour we visited Nourlangie and Ubirr Rock sites. Our guide taught
us the different art styles and how the rock art could be dated by the type of the drawing and told us what it meant.
Only the men were allowed to paint and since the aboriginals are a nomadic people, these paintings were left behind to tell the next group that came along what they could do in this area. Paintings were also used to tell a story or to
