INFIORATA DI NOTO FLOWER FESTIVAL |

Noto has been having the Infiorata di Noto Baroque Flower Festival for 46 years on the third Sunday in May. We took the train from Siracusa and spent the day in the charming baroque town of Noto. The winning flower designs are displayed on Via Corrado Nicolae, a sloping street where the 16 winning floral artists will paint their designs. The theme this year was “Art makes peace; the Infiorata that Unites, Hope Beyond Borders”. The weekend event also included concerts, food stands serving Sicilian delicacies and also includes a parade which is called the Baroque Procession. |
