CHRISTINE MENY

Art has been an integral part of Christine’s life since she was a young child.  She has studied with Sister Rosula at Sacred Heart Academy in Klamath Falls, OR; Carl Hall at Willamette University; Emogene Cookson and Yolanda Bech at Florida State University, Canal Zone branch; and  Jan Eldridge at Solano Community College, Fairfield, CA.   Living in Panama she was part of an artist’s group and was involved in 4 group exhibits, a two-woman show at the Administration Building in Balboa, Canal Zone  and had a one woman show at the JWB/USO in Balboa. She was a member of the National League of American Pen Women, Canal Zone and Panama Branch.  Her electic style ranges from realism to very modern and abstract.  She works in oils, acrylics, watercolor, charcoal, and pencil and also assembles rusty farm equipment into garden art.
