Penny took a watercolor course last year in France and since she and Nancy share a love of the medium, they spent alot of time painting. They decided to take a watercolor course together in Italy in the fall. 

These are the scenes that they painted from Nancy's cabin.

Then they set up their easels beside the Truckee River and painted outside in the snow.
