The name, Tower of London, is misleading since it is basically a walled city. We recommend the Tower as a nice place to relax and enjoy the view of the Thames River.  They have a cafeteria in one of the buildings with a decent, inexpensive menu.

We were visiting the Lincoln's Inn area and John Soane's Museum and left by way of Chancery Lane. We accidentally discovered the King's College Library and saw this amazing reflection off a neighboring office building.

Saint Paul's Cathedral in the far center and McDonald's on the left!  After touring Italian cathedrals, we were a bit disappointed with Saint Paul's.  We hiked the stairs to the Whispering Gallery. Unfortunately it was under construction and whispering wasn't going to cut it. The crypt is well worth a look.

This was a pretty chapel in the castle in the Tower of London.

The Green Park lies to the east of Buckingham Palace and was acquired by King Henry VIII at the same time as Hyde Park and St. James.   On our way to Buckingham Park we walked through Green Park.  The yellow are daffodil beds.

Above and below: Hey, it doesn't look like this in Indiana in March! We took a short tour of the east end of the park while waiting for the change of the Horse Guards.
