Tahiti and her islands are located south of the equator, in the same time zone as Hawaii, halfway between California and Australia.  The group first visited Tahiti, where Didi lived as a child, in a town called Paea. The idea of the tour was to introduce the group to Tahiti and Moorea and then at the end of the tour, the group participated in an all-day Tifaifai workshop where they designed their very own Tifaifais to commemorate their trip to Tahiti. They stayed three nights at the Tahiti Beachcomber InterContinental which is located in  Faa'a just outside of Papeete. 

February 3rd, Sunday:  The group woke up to this view of Moorea across the Sea of the Moon from their rooms at the Tahiti Beachcomber InterContinental.  They were stunned by the beauty that they saw!  Like waking up in paradise!
