February 4th, Monday: The group experienced Papeete on foot.  We were given a wonderful tour of the Black Pearl Museum, went to fabric shops, ate and shopped in the public market and explored the shops of Papeete.  Didi taught the group to use the local transportation, Le Truck, and in the evening the group went back into Papeete and ate at the roulottes on the dock.

There are several fabric stores by the market - Hawaii and Venus are just two of them. 

Looking at black pearls in Papeete is great entertainment.
