Didi's best friend, Maire, invited us into her home for a Tahitian dinner and party. Before the dinner she shared with the group the Tifaifais made by the Tahitian Mamas and members of our group shared with the family quilts that they had brought with them. This is a side of Tahitian life that is rarely seen by your average tourist. After the quilt showing, the group feasted on a wonderful Tahitian dinner made by Maire and her family.
