Part of the experience of going to Tiki Village, is the opportunity to enjoy the Tamaara'a, the Tahitian meal that is cooked in the ground. A pit is dug in the sand and the food is put over the fire and then covered up with palm fronds. You are shown how their food is cooked and then later you get a chance to taste the unique Tahitian foods. |
