Large rubber eraser.

1 1/2 yards of two fabrics.   Although it is possible to find a fabric you will like in Tahiti, bring backups just in case.  It is most effective if the two fabrics contrast drastically.  Prints are good if they contrast with the other fabric..  

Applique thread to match fabrics.

Small pencil sharpener.

Large box of pins.

Scissors and anything else you would bring in your basic sewing kit.   The scissors need to be in
your checked baggage.

Bring pictures of quilts that you have completed and also bring a small quilt along that you can show to others.
