CHECK-IN TIMES Check-in time is 31/2 hours before departure at Tom Bradley International Airport in Los Angeles.
Allow at least 2 1/2 to 3 hours between your arrival back into the United States at Los Angeles International Airport when planning your connecting flight back home. This allows for any delays, time to go through Customs and time to get to your terminal for your next flight.

TRAVEL DOCUMENTS Each passenger is responsible for obtaining and carrying the correct travel documentation for the countries to be visited. The name on your airline ticket must match the spelling of
your name (First and Last name) on your passport. If you are from a country other than US., make sure that you check with your consulate to make sure that you don't need a Visa to enter Tahiti.
U.S. citizens do not need visas to go to Tahiti.
Your passport must be valid for six months beyond your travel date.

TICKETS All tickets for Air Tahiti Nui will be paper tickets.

MEDICATION Internationally traveling passengers should always carry enough prescribed medications needed for the duration of their trip. All medications should be carried only in your carry-on baggage.
If needles are necessary for medical reasons, they must be declared at the airport screening point. Passengers carrying needles will need to declare them at the screening point.
It is advisable to provide documentation or identification to confirm a medical condition and for all medication to have either a professional printed label identifying the medication or manufacturers or for the
medication to be in pharmaceutically labeled packaging.

BAGGAGE AIR TAHITI NUI Carry-on Baggage You can carry-on 1 piece with the combined dimensions of 45 inches/115 cm and a weight allowance of no more than 22 pounds/10 kilos.
In addition to your maximum allowance, the following personal items are permitted in the cabin: walking stick, cane or crutches, handbag or pocketbook, small camera case or binocular, briefcase or laptop computer with case.
Checked Baggage Two free bags are allowed at the dimensions of 62"/158 cms in total outside dimensions with a weight allowance of 50 lbs per piece. However, since you are taking an Air
Tahiti flight between Moorea and Papeete, please read the Air Tahiti information below for their restrictions. If your baggage exceeds the limitations stated above, you will be charged for excess
baggage.
AIR TAHITI - Moorea to Papeete Baggage allowance for passengers connecting with an international flight : 20 kg (44 lbs) on flights operated by ATR aircraft only. This concerns visitors
making a circuit on AIR TAHITI in connection with international flights, not exceeding 30 days, and who show their international ticket at check-in.
On ATR flights, an additional free baggage allowance of 5 kg (11 pounds) is granted to scuba divers upon presentation of their diver's card at the check-in counter.

PACKING YOUR BAGS Make sure that all your bags have proper and clear identification tags both inside and outside.
DO NOT pack medicines, cash, jewelry or other valuable items in your checked baggage.
All bags must be left unlocked to facilitate the search process.

and cleaners, flammable liquids and solids, such as lighter, fuel, matches, paint thinners, and fire-lighters, briefcases and attaché cases with installed alarm devices, poisons and infectious substances.

DAMAGED BAGGAGE If your damage is damaged, Air Tahiti Nui recommends that you file a claim directly at the airport. If you did not file a report at the airport, you have 7 days to report the damage
from the date of delivery of the bag.
