Fraser Island

Any travel agent can issue a ticket or book a cruise . . .
We create Travel Experiences . . . that extra effort is our hallmark!

World Heritage Fraser Island is located 189 miles north of Brisbane. The gateway to the island is Hervey Bay in central Queensland.  The claim to fame for Fraser is that it is the biggest sand island in the world (405,000 acres). It has a 75-mile long beach and is known for its ecualyptus woodlands, sand dunes and ancient rain forest. The island has no roads so it is a favorite for people in 4WD and it is also a great place for fishing.

The Pinnacles have been sculpted by the winds and the colors come from the iron oxides in the sands of Fraser Island.

There are no roads and the only way to get around is in a 4WD vehicle.
