Fun Things to do in Alice

Any travel agent can issue a ticket or book a cruise . . .
We create Travel Experiences . . . that extra effort is our hallmark!

There are many things that you can do when you travel to Alice Springs.  Here are some photos of just a few of them. We can book you on all of these and many more.

FRONTIER CAMEL TOURS

One of the things you can do in Alice Springs is to take a camel to breakfast, lunch or dinner.  We did the FRONTIER CAMELS BREAKFAST TOUR in August of 2008. We can also book you on your camel ride too! After your camel ride, you will have a wonderful breakfast cooked for you.   Camels were bought from the Middle East to open up the outback and now Australia is selling them back to the Middle East!

After your camel ride, you will be cooked an Aussie breakfast.

There is a camel museum at Frontier.

OUTBACK QUAD ADVENTURES is another fun thing you can do when you are in Alice Springs.  You travel to Undoolya Cattle Station (below) and there board your quad bike for a tour around the station.

TAILORMADE TOURS' ORIGINAL OUTBACK BUSH BBQ is located on Undoolya Cattle Station outside of Alice Springs. It is a great introduction to the outback and we can book it for you.

Danny will also show you how damper is made (Aussie bread) and cooked in an open fire.

The site of the BBQ is in a stone quarry on the cattle station.

Scotty will serenade you with some real Aussie songs and you will get a chance to play in the band and participate in a sing-a-long. Click on Scotty's photo to the left to see a video of the fun time you will have at the "Original Outback BBQ".

Danny will show you different types of boomerangs and will show you how they are thrown.  Click on the photo above to see the "Boomerang That Didn't Come Back" video.

Dan giving a talk on life on a cattle station.

ALICE SPRINGS HOLIDAYS offers luxury small group touring - day tours and longer trips that will take you from Alice Springs to Ayers Rock/Uluru.  Chris, the owner, (below) prepares a great sunset snack! The below photos were taken on their West MacDonnell Ranges Sunset Tour.

ALICE SPRINGS DESERT PARK  outside of Alice Springs has three habitats that you can explore: Desert Rivers, Sand Country, and Woodland.   There is a Nature Theater and a Nocturnal House and there are aboriginal guides to show you around.  You can see the animals and plants of the central Australia desert in natural settings.

DISCOVERY ECOTOURS is another company that provides small group touring throughout the Northern Territory.
